In January, Eben Ezer Luther Care Center in Brush, Colorado, closed on their USDA loan to start a multi-phased repositioning project. The campus is undertaking a replacement of its current occupied facilities, enhancing current levels of care, improving services and adding amenities, including: a new assisted living and memory care building, two new skilled nursing wings and new central services, commercial kitchen and laundry and common area amenities.  This project will revamp the campus and position it well to service the Northeastern Colorado region for many decades to come. ARCH’s efforts have helped navigate all aspects of the development process for the complex long-term project.

The Clare, located in downtown Chicago, Illinois, renovated common spaces throughout the high-rise senior living community and is nominated for a Senior Housing News Architecture & Design Award. Projects included a new Discovery Center, lobby renovations with a new additional entrance, updated serving and event space on the 53^rd floor providing a premier view of the Chicago skyline, new Bistro on the 9^th floor and formal dining area on the 17^th floor. ARCH managed the phased renovations for the Owner, Senior Care Development.

ARCH was an exhibitor at the LeadingAge Annual Meeting and EXPO in Indianapolis. The ARCH team was able to connect with colleagues and network with other industry leaders who share our passion and commitment to improving the lives of those we serve. Frank Muraca also presented an education session on how to keep your Board informed during a campus development project.

Bethesda Rehab & Senior Care, located in Chicago, Illinois, completed an expansion and renovation to the existing rehabilitation center.  The project included a newly renovated skilled nursing wing, new office and therapy support areas, and a newly constructed physical therapy building with a separate entrance. ARCH provided project management and construction oversight to ensure construction was complete for a fall grand opening.

The Mount Miguel Covenant Village campus located in Spring Valley, California recently completed phase one of a new Town Center project. The dramatic mission style campus centerpiece for staff and residents contains administrative offices and a health clinic as well as multiple dining, entertainment, social, fitness and activity areas. ARCH was brought on during construction, providing Owner’s Representative services to help achieve successful completion within a constrained budget.

ARCH’s corporate social responsibility program encourages staff to create a positive influence in the communities in which we work and live. Communications Manager, Brit Vipham, volunteered with McHenry County Habitat for Humanity painting the interiors of a home in Woodstock, Illinois. This home renovation was part of the Habitat for Humanity Women Build Program, which addresses the housing crisis facing millions of women and children worldwide.

ARCH Consultants, Ltd. celebrated their 15^th anniversary at the Arlington International Racetrack. We are grateful for all of the colleagues and friends that we have made over the years and look forward to many more successful years to come guiding the building process from vision to occupancy.

The Village at Orchard Ridge, a Life Plan Community in Winchester, Virginia, celebrated the grand open of their new Engage Center. The wellness center features an aquatics, art studio, fitness center, massage studio, life enrichment studios, and therapy spaces. ARCH served as project manager, guiding the project from initial conception through opening.

The Environments for Aging (EFA) design showcase featured the Harvest Bistro at Sedgebrook, a renovated dining venue for the Lincolnshire, Illinois campus. The Tuscan wine country theme sets the stage for an energetic atmosphere. ARCH served as Owner’s Representative for the project completed in October of 2015. For the full article, click here.

ARCH is pleased to announce that Milissa Rowell has joined the staff as Administrative Assistant to the firm. Ms. Rowell will support day-to-day operations coordinating staff travel arrangements, maintaining office supply inventories, preparing monthly project reports and assisting in implementing administrative systems to maintain the efficient workflow. Prior to joining ARCH, she served as graphic designer and marketing coordinator for corporations in the Chicagoland area. Her solid understanding of a productive office environment and strong work ethic makes her a perfect match for our team.
